Authentic Thai Recipe Ingredient: Ginger
ขิง (Khing; King)
Ginger is either served raw (shredded or diced) with dishes such as Miang kham and Khanom chin sao nam, in certain chilli dips, or in stir fried dishes of Chinese origin. When you are shopping, be sure you pick the Ginger root, not Galangal root. They look similar but have very different flavors and uses in our Thai dishes.
